Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs how you may access and use the CampusMarket platform, its APIs, and any associated services. It supplements our Terms of Service and Community Guidelines.

You may not use CampusMarket in any of the following ways:

• Automated scraping — using bots, crawlers, spiders, or automated scripts to extract data from the platform without written permission.
• Unauthorized API access — accessing any non-public API endpoint or attempting to reverse-engineer our backend infrastructure.
• Denial of service — sending excessive requests that degrade the performance or availability of the platform for other users.
• Circumventing security controls — attempting to bypass authentication, authorization, rate limiting, or other access controls.
• Vulnerability exploitation — exploiting any security vulnerability to gain unauthorized access to data, accounts, or systems.
• Injecting malicious code — uploading or transmitting viruses, malware, trojans, or any other harmful code.
• Data harvesting — collecting, aggregating, or storing other users' personal information without their consent.
• Creating fake accounts — registering multiple accounts, using false identities, or impersonating others.

You may not use the platform to:

• Post spam, unsolicited advertisements, or bulk commercial messaging.
• Conduct phishing, fraud, or any deceptive practices targeting other users.
• Distribute illegal content, including stolen goods, counterfeit items, or regulated substances.
• Harass, threaten, or intimidate other users.
• Violate any applicable law or regulation in your jurisdiction.

If you discover a security vulnerability in our platform, we ask that you disclose it responsibly by emailing support@campusmrkt.com before public disclosure. We will investigate and respond within 72 hours. We appreciate good-faith security research and will not pursue legal action for reports made in accordance with this policy.

Violation of this AUP may result in immediate suspension or permanent termination of your account, removal of content, referral to law enforcement, and/or civil or criminal legal action where warranted. We reserve the right to monitor platform activity to detect and prevent AUP violations.

We may update this AUP from time to time. Continued use of CampusMarket after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
